Reviews of Busboys and Poets
"The GM does a great job here. Everything was put together really nicely too and ice wasn’t put in my drink so it wasn’t watered down. Probably one of the best takeaway meals I had in when it comes to presentation and care. And food is always good! I love the sustainable and reusable bags they use. Great marketing as well!"
"This location is bigger than the Takoma one. It is located in the heart of the Hyattsville Art District. Easy to park around the area. The food and service is great."
"Everything was amazing. The service and the food good. The catfish was fried perfectly. The greens didn’t have a lot of flavor but the dish was a good combo with grits. This was a great vibe for listening to music, enjoying drinks, and eating."
"Had a party of 11. I was the first to arrive and service from start to finish was great. Our server was quick and apparently took good notes as every order was correct. I loved the selection of art as well as their diverse and inclusive book selection. I didn't want any alcohol and their selection of mocktails was delicious. Definitely a plus if you just want to enjoy a non boozy day. I'll be back."
"This was my first time at this location. I was too hype about getting a JFK (drink). I was told I could not get one. That was disappointing since I was visiting and do not live in the area. The service was slow, we had to ask for help but overall the food was very good and the music was a vibe. The restaurant was clean and the young lady who helped us was nice. They did try to improvise after I asked for a spiked coffee, it was good. They have a very good selection of books. There is paid parking on the side of the building."
