"This was an absolute gem during my stay on Kent Island! Baltimore has tons of nail salons but Kelly could “run with the best of them”. I received the dipping powder in a beautiful color, expertly applied and professionally done. She moves quickly multitasking to keep the shop rolling but it’s no wonder she’d booked up. She is amazing! My nails are gorgeous. I’ll be back and will tell my friends visiting the area. Warning - make an appointment. She’s in high demand & for good reason!"

"I just went to Fancy Nails today for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I walked in as soon as they opened and was greeted by a girl who was not super friendly. She asked what I wanted and told me to pick out a color. I didn’t know where the color choices were seeing as how I had never been there before. Another customer had to point them out to me. I browsed through but already knew that I wanted matte black, so I asked her if that was possible and she said “yes” and told me to go sit down in a pedicure chair. I sat down and put my feet in the cold water. The girl doing my pedi never asked how the water was, never asked if I wanted any different options pedicure wise. She barely spoke the entire time. The pedicure was mediocre. The “massage” was maybe 2 mins on each leg. When she was done she picked up my stuff and led me to the manicure table. She never asked me anything further about what I wanted. I had contemplated acrylics or a design but with how unfriendly and unwelcoming they were, I really didn’t feel like attempting to ask for more. So I just let her do her thing. At one point she asked “square or round” and that was it. She did an ok job. My nails aren’t very long so I know I don’t have a lot to work with, but I’ve had way better mani/pedis. This is my first time getting one on the Eastern Shore and it will probably be my last. I will drive the 40 minutes to go back to my regular nail salon in Elkridge if it means friendly customer service and better quality results. Fancy nails is probably ok if you want a super basic mani/pedi and don’t care about customer service/cleanliness/anything above and beyond. At least it was only $42 total. But not even worth that in my opinion."
