"Poor service steeped in passive aggressive behaviors: My wife and I have been going to Candy Nail Salon for more two years without incident. A week ago, my wife made a 1 o’clock appointment. As a retired military officer, I arrived on time and was led to one of the private rooms to soak my feet before the pedicure. Time elapsed before I realized I’d been sitting unattended for more than 25 minutes. I called Tony to inform him that my appointment was 1 o’clock. Five minutes later, he came and started to work on my feet and hands, which was 1/2 hour beyond my appointment. I make appointments so I don’t have to waste my time. Tony wasted 30 minutes of my time serving another customer. Cleary a nail technician should be able to estimate within reason how long a customer will take. He gave no consideration to my time— not even alerting me he’d be late. I just sat there waiting. When it was time to pay the bill, I said in a controlled and low tone that I’m not leaving a tip because I don’t appreciate having 30 minutes of my time wasted. I told him in the future, I’d appreciate some consideration for my time by discussing with me. A week later, I asked my wife to make an appointment, and she said that I scared him. Wow! I’m not a huge or scary man. I’m 67 years old. Most find me gentle in disposition. I don’t mind being called scary, but what I find concerning is that Tony sought to punish a customer for his bad behavior. My wife and I will not frequent any place that fails to respect our time or seek to punish us for their poor customer service behavior!"

"Got a pedicure. Great atmosphere, not a busy spot on a Thursday and reasonable prices. Pedicure costs range from basic at $35 to super deluxe at $99. I got a $65 package and was very satisfied."

"Brought my grand daughter for her birthday manicure. She left in tears. The man who did her manicure did a terrible job. Her nails were not completely polished. She requested a French tip. It was uneven and looked terrible. I'm very disappointed. I'm not a fan and won't be back!"
