Mattie and Eddie’s Irish Bar and Restaurant

"Great fish and chips. Typical bar environment. Service not good at all. People nice, but apparently not enough of them. Expect to wait a LONG time for everything. Bartender did not know how to make a Maker’s Mark Manhattan. Then quizzed me on if I wanted a cherry? Did I want sweet vermouth? Etc. yep, I know what a Manhattan is. And it doesn’t include whiskey! Which is what I got. Deviled eggs are meh. Nothing special. Potato and leek soup mediocre. Fries so wilted it wasn’t funny (well, the wonderful fish was set right on top). So. Many. Sauces to go with the fish. They weren’t labeled, so had no idea what they were. All in plastic containers. Apple pie identical to what you get at McDonald’s. So all in all, I’m surprised this place is still in business!"

"Great Reuben, fish and chips were good but batter was sliding off of the fish. The half and half was great!"

"Nice Irish pub in a nice location. Came in to have have a draft which was money! Atmosphere was nice. Its a low lit pub a place to go for happy hour after a busy day at work or a place to just escape and relax for a moment. My food wasn't disappointing but I just had small bar food. I seen others food that were around me that looked amazing. The Fish and Chips especially. I'll be back for sure"

"Stopped in for a quick bite. Service was great, they had live music which was also great. Out Wings were cooked perfectly. My only complaint is the lack of lighting. It was hard to see the Menu, and they were out of the garlic mushrooms."

"Mattie and Eddie's had a quaint feel. We visited on a Friday and they had some wonderful live music. We had the wings; they were fantastic. The area around the restaurant is great for walking and people-watching after dinner."
