"Today was my first visit to Capella Nail Bar. My tech was WaFa. She was fantastic. She listened to what I wanted, did a repair on one of my nails, changed the shape of them and painted them exactly as I described. I was offered a beverage as soon as I was seated and there wasn't a wait time. She finished the manicure with a great hand moisturizer and massage. I also had a pedicure. The seats are quite comfortable and I love how they dimmed the lights for a more relaxing experience. I was offered a second beverage and everyone was very personable and cheerful. The price was a bit higher than what I typically spend but it was worth it. I'd definitely recommend WaFa for services."

"Thoroughly disappointed in my experience at this establishment. Came in for a regular manicure and felt extremely rushed. David was my tech and there was little attention paid to detail. He did not oil or push back my cuticles so my manicure looks days old. There are many spots missing paint. They offer no hot towels, and don't expect them to rub lotion on your hands at all during the process. I am not sure if this is the standard at Capella, or if David was just being careless. He also did a horrible gel job on my cousin. At the end I was offered a mimosa, and ironically, a small bottle of hand lotion by another nail tech. Perhaps some of the techs here do great work, but I won't be returning to find out."

"Beautiful and clean salon. Fast great service loved my nails and my tech was very kind and patience, he listened to my design requests and delivered. I will definitely be back! They also offer wine, and, champagne before your service which is a nice touch. They even gave me a free gift! I think because of the holidays. If you’re in the Bowie area check them out."

"I’ve been here three times now, twice for “gel x” manicures and once for a gel pedicure. Found this place after a bad experience somewhere else, and I’ll probably never go anywhere else! The gel pedicure was honestly average, but both times I’ve done the “gel x” my nails looked phenomenal! Both times they were exactly what I wanted, and I’ve never been so happy with my nails! I will say the gel x was a pain to take off myself so it’s probably worth the extra money to have them take it off. I was also able to stretch the first set to almost 4 weeks of wear! This place is a little pricey compared to other places ($75 + tip for gel x manicure) ($62 + tip for gel pedicure), however, I’m so happy with how my nails turned out I’m treating it as my monthly self care costs!"

"I LOVE this salon‼️ Great customer service from every single tech and great facility. They serve you wine and mimosas while you are getting serviced. The pedicure section is relaxing with dimmed lights and most comfortable chairs. They offer a WIDE range of colors and services. It is also one of the only salons in the immediate area that offers Gel-X. I love it here‼️ 10 out of 10 every single time‼️"
