"Came to this barbershop Twice because it’s blacked owned. My experience each time was met with rudeness and disrespect. There was more hospitality from the homeless people outside than the barbers once entering the shop. I can not fathom how a person would spend money at a place you have to walk in and and ask each barber is there a opening and and sign that says walk-ins are welcome. Both times and different attire I was rudely greeted and welcomed. That is a very uncomfortable place of business. So unprofessional I would never spend a dollar and I do not recommend this place of business until this place of business understand the value of service and a friendly welcome at the minimum. Very disappointed each time. First time I waited then the barber decided to hold me up almost missed my train and still no haircut. The 2nd time I left my office at DOJ to come get a haircut and to give this place a 2nd chance. Unfortunately I do not recommend this place. The service and energy is horrible. Best wishes to this business and the barbers but I would never spend my dollar there. Sadly I randomly tip my new barbers extremely well usually At least 40 in tip for time and effort. As a Black own Business owner who does business with the government Im very disappointed. Do better!"
"OK, so my family just moved into the area and I thought nice we live by a beauty salon. Then my Mom came to visit we walked over to the salon made a appointment with ZEE and a barber for my son. I just wish I would have looked at the reviews first because ZEE was a no show which wasted our time. We ended up on H st to get my Mothers hair done. We liked the barber tho."
"Had an appointment with ZEE (Nazzeta) she was a no-show, I called , texted with no reply. Very unprofessional and it's sad because the neighborhood is changing and I would like to support a black business, but can't because of unprofessionalism like this. Whomever the owner is please hire more stylist that are interested in working and treating their customers with respect."
"I was really disappointment when I accompanied my friend to get her locs maintenanced this morning. Her appt was 11am, we drove 45 mins and upon arrival (on time) she was told she would have to wait. The Stylist (Nazetta) was working on someone else. Then to add insult to injury, while waiting the stylist came outside to smoke. By 11:30 my friend went back into the salon to find out how much longer, only to be unapologetically told 30 more minutes. The stylist offers my friend to come back tomorrow morning without considering the time and gas spent traveling to the *APPOINTMENT* this morning. Still unapologetic, the stylist asks "Oh you have to leave?" This was just horrible! On top of all of this my friend prior to arriving had text and called the stylist several times to confirm that the stylist was still available and ready for her appt. The stylist never replied or answered the call, which was super unprofessional and dismissive. That would have been a great time for the stylist to inform my friend that her appointment would be delayed, and gave her the option to come the next morning. I had considered becoming a client, as I love supporting black owned, but this treatment turned me way off. I felt compelled to write a review to express my own frustration of this poor customer service. I felt bad for my friend who had driven a good distance to basically be treated as though her time was not valued. The stylist did ABSOLUTELY nothing to effectively mitigate the damage. The stylist has zero concern about how inconvenienced my friend was by her poor time management. I will never become a customer and nor will I ever recommend this salon or stylist. What I will recommend is that this stylist and this salon do better at showing customer's they matter. Lost a current and potential customer. Period!"
