"This was by far the worst service we ever experienced in the US. The waitress's motivation was extremely low. No normal waiter - guest communication, no asking how the food was, no reaction to guests'comments regarding food. The only thing she did was to highlight the recommended tips, but this service was not even worth a penny. My personal highlight is that she just kept the coins of the change. Not a big amount of money but still unacceptable. The food was good and fairly priced for an airport but in this case it can only be recommended to get rid of that employee."

"We were on a layover between Houston and Paris when we passed Devil’s Backbone Taproom at Dulles International Airport. We had bought food at a fast food restaurant we had passed on the way to our gate. With a GIANT bag of food in hand, we asked the host if we asked if we could eat our food in there if we ordered beer. The guy said yes and went to clean a table for us. We sat down, got our food out and we’re promptly kicked out. We told the waitress that the host told us it was fine. The waitress then proceeded to call us liars as the guy who told us we could eat there just stood there. Very unprofessional workers! Would never go back and would not recommend unless you want yo be embarrassed by their workers and called a liar. Most taprooms are bring your own food and since we asked ahead of time, there is absolutely no reason for this treatment."

"I'm a fan of this brewery, first time at the IAD Airport location. Fine service, no one is here except me. Good beer selection. But the music could not BE more off. It's 6:30 in the morning and there is 80s music 'blasting' like were in the club in 1989. It could not be more wrong. Why isn't there some chill, running with the vibe, music playing? If this is a 'union' thing... cut it out."

"The heartland bone dipper ciabatta sandwich was super yummy. I highly recommend it, but without the bacon. The bacon kills the top round delicious flavor it had. The Au jus was excellent. Burger was substantial and fries were crisp and fresh. Considering it's airport food, this place ranks an 8 (1-10) on my airport food places. Next month will try other menu items when I fly out again."
