Reviews of Rapoport Pharmacy
"This pharmacy is no longer a family owned pharmacy ever since they changed hands with the new pharmacist they no longer have pain medication they try to tell why you shouldn’t be taking pain medication they don’t know why people are taking pain medicine and what kind of pain people are in your job is to sell medication not telling people what medication they should not be taking. Sorry but I use to love this pharmacy but had to switch to CVS. Need better pharmacist that fill your prescription and not judge your medication your doctor prescribed for you"
"I've been a lifelong customer of Rapoport Pharmacy so it pains me to leave this review. Some months ago Rapoport had a change in ownership and ever since then they have failed to properly fulfill my prescriptions more often than not (they have close to an 80% failure rate.) I hope they can turn it around but the incompetence is staggering."
"Recently, I got a phone call while I was at work. Kim from the pharmacy was trying to schedule an appointment so I can get my dose for the Covid vaccine. I was as nice and polite as I could be. She eventually tells me that I’m being very rude when she’s the one being rude herself by talking fresh and nasty towards me. I’m in customer service myself and would never want to act like this with any customer regardless of the circumstances. When I tell her that she got me at work, she’s like, “You got me at work.” I told her that she was the one that called me. Later on, I called the pharmacy to ask to speak to a manager or supervisor. Matt got on the phone and was very patient with me. He said that he would go talk to her as the way she spoke to me was unacceptable. If someone like an employee is rude to you, think twice before wanting to give them business again."
"I took my 86-year-old mother to get a Covid vaccination today. It was crowded and not everybody was fully masked. At times the man doing the paperwork had a mask just over his mouth rather than his nose. Another person working in the back was not masked. This is not a safe place to get the shot. Go elsewhere where they are more careful and conscientious. Regarding your response below, I would like to make the following comments: 1) We were not walk-ins as we made a previous appointment. 2) My mom's Medicare card was thoroughly checked before getting a vaccination. You were well compensated for what you did, as well you should be. 3) You did not make any accommodations for my mother to wait outside. I talked her into waiting in the car and called her when her shot was ready. 4) At the time of my 86-year-old mother's vaccination, Philadelphia was seeing a spike in Covid cases with at least 700 new cases per day. A mask was not lowered to get a drink of water as the mask was over the scheduler's mouth (unless they were drinking through their nose). There was also someone working in the back without a mask at all. 5) I spoke to the City of Philadelphia before posting this review. They confirmed that the pharmacy was totally off base with 1 employee not wearing a mask, and another with a mask just over the mouth. That has absolutely nothing to do with me. This is especially true in a small store with older people waiting to get vaccinated. 6) I applaud you vaccinating the community. Happily, everyone was wearing a mask for my mother's second shot, which I greatly appreciate. This is the way it should be. Had it been this way the first time around the only thing I would've said was thank you very much."
"I go there at least once a month and they are always friendly, attentive, professional and provide outstanding customer service. They will go out of their way to provide me with information to help me make informed choices. The experience is always 1000% better than you will get at any of the national big name pharmacies. I highly recommend them. I would never go anywhere else for my pharmacy needs."
