"Pre-booked for highlights, wash & blow dry expected. Booking the appointment I asked the price and told a certain price, the price changed to a different price. I quiry the price & told by the stylist, if she had blow dried my hair straight (meaning dead straight), which i never asked for, the price would be more; followed by her telling me, "you know your hair" as if it would be somehow difficult. I got home and my hair was wet especially in the middle. The cheeky-ness of it with insult had made me upset."

"Horrendous experience, overcharged, and very poor customer service. The manager was incredibly insensitive and insistent that the terrible cut and service was agreeable and even well done. She lied about miscommunication and took zero responsibility for the damaging cut and trim that cannot be undone. DO NOT go here if you are looking for a styled and respectful experience or just a satisfactory cut."

"Highlights with Ayse...new person....she was great, on time, and personable. She is firm, once she sees a vision for what you want. The only reason I gave four stars is that she is not sure she will stay....per the front desk."

"I went with my daughter there to get her hair blown out for Homecoming along with two of her friends. They washed their hair dried their hair with blow dryer. That’s it!!! I asked for them to put a little waves or hairspray or some sort of hair products. They did and she looked like little Crazy poodle. Hard to decribe but let’s say it didn’t look good! She was horrified and went to bathroom to cry. All the girls were disappointed!!! Clearly these hair dressers don’t know what a blow out means!!! So I went to counter and just wanted to pay and get out of there. They charged me $80 for EACH girl!!! For what?? I have NEVER been charged $80 for a blowout! The work they put in for the girls was one of the laziest I have seen. To charge that is ridiculous! The receptionist said because they all had long hair. Two did but not my daughter (mid-length). I didn’t want to cause a scene so I paid and left. I called to complain and explain myself. manager heard me and was compassionate but then said she’ll call back tomorrow. The Receptionist called me back the next day with total attitude and said that I was quoted the price. They did not!!!! She then with attitude said there is a price list on wall. I said being my first time there did not know that. She basically said well too bad for you. Not their fault. They credited me $80 for my daughters hairdo because she cried. She was not sorry at all!! They felt they were right and I was wrong... If you go there know your hair will look like S___! Not worth the money or time! I’m not one of those women who ever writes a review but I really feel as a local Bethesda patron everyone needs to know!!! They lost a returning customer of the nail salon too!!!"
