"I went to Bloom Salon on the recommendation of another person. My appointment was with Anne Landry, one of the salon owners and a Master Stylist. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and after my shampoo, she got started. I've had this cut several times in my other salon out of state with perfect results, so I was hopeful. Anne's technique was far from the master stylists that I've used before: she just kept hacking off chunks until finally, instead of a beautiful layered bob, I ended up with a mix between a Kindergarten boy bowl cut and lawn mower job pixie. I actually had to tell her to stop just to get out of there, otherwise who knows, I may have ended up bald. While they apologized and refunded my payment later, she did keep the gratuity (which I give standard anywhere regardless of service), plus I had to pay for parking as well for this disaster appointment. It's taken six months of wearing hats and for my hair to grow out even to a bob level now (still too early to fix), and it's obvious that even this basic style was beyond her skill level as my hair is uneven, like a chainsaw went through it. This honestly was the worst haircut I've ever experienced, and for $130, there should be a higher standard at this place for the price point. Just horrible."
