"the dye job was fine, but the stylist I had has zero clue how to service curly hair. Like, at all. I understand it's not taught at standard cosmetology school ( :/ ), but just watch some simple home tutorials from people with curly hair and you'll be good. If most services require a shampoo, you really should know how to style all hair types from wet --> in a wash-n-go or blow-dry fashion, not just straight and wavy hair."

"I switched to Chaos after randomly walking past the salon one day. I called to schedule a curly cut and the receptionist placed me with Ginger. When I say that this haircut was life changing, I am not exaggerating. I have never had so many compliments on my hair in my ENTIRE LIFE. And the compliments continue well after my first cut. She has a process and it works- it was not a typical curly cut, as she did blow my hair out straight in the process, but TRUST HER. I’ve never been more confident with my hair or felt so attractive. Also, Ginger is a hilarious and kind soul who loves dogs. The vibe in the salon is professional but lighthearted. Modern, but no nonsense— no upselling or gimmicks. Just good haircuts. I look forward to going there every single time."

"I got a haircut with Crystal at Chaos Salon for the first time last week. I gave myself a week to live in it and think about before writing a review. Overall, bad customer service and bad haircut. I don’t write reviews and haven’t ever left a bad review for a salon before, but after spending $100 just for a cut I’m feeling a little swindled. Stylist was 10 minutes late for appointment from running over from previous. Totally fine but no apology or greeting when she was ready for me just a ‘Hey’ as I’m looking at my phone. We sit and chop a rough cut after we discuss taking 5 inches off with face framing layers. I notice she works to thin out my hair without asking (I admit I said nothing but I trust that she’s doing her job), then tells me to go to shampoo bowl without further communication. She goes to the back room and I’m confused but a separate shampooist comes out a minute later. Go back to sit for cut with Crystal and then get blown dry. Attached photos are final result that I blow dried 1 week post-cut. Pictures speak for themselves and I’m upset at the price I paid for this work.. Layers completely uneven and not blended, and no face framing pieces. Admittedly I said it looked fine when I was sitting in the chair but what was I supposed to say? I did not want any more chopped off and decided to reassess after a week. I personally will not be returning and would not recommend."
