"Pizza was great, as well as the chef's salad. The waitress was very attentive. Always a great experience."
"I bought 18 of the famous breaded whole wings. 6 were so burned I couldn't understand why they would even give them to a customer! When I got home and saw this, I immediately called and told them I was bringing them back. Waitress got the manager on the phone, all she said was the cook must have used two fryers. No apology, she just asked if I wanted them to cook me a new batch. Yes I paid for them. Went to give them back and pick up fresh ones, they didn't even offer any compensation for their mistake! No sorry you had to drive back over or here is a coupon. Nope! You try to patronize local restaurants and get this! No thanks, I'll make the extra effort to go to another restaurant from now on! EDIT: TO YOUR RESPONSE: You never said my next 6 are free. You asked me if I wanted you to cook 6 more. I said yes I paid for them. When you said about the cook using two separate fryers, you not once said sorry. You just tried to give me a reason why they were so burnt. My response was I am not sure but i didnt want them. They looked at those wings and thought it was ok to give those to a customer. I'm sure you looked in the bag when it was returned. They should not have been given to me. Especially a take out order. Then I had to come back out in the nasty cold weather to return them. When I said burnt, I mean extremely burnt and hard. Just unacceptable and maybe you should think of trying to respond better to customers when things like this happen. Apologize and compensate them for their inconvenience. If I'm to get 6 free for the next order, how? Did you provide a coupon? No , It was even news to me because you never said that. Your tone on the call was not apologetic and now even here you want to respond like you went above and beyond. You just want to make me look bad? Really? For coming on here telling the truth. If the girl at the register was suppose to tell us our next order is free, well she did not either. So just an FYI, next time be more pleasant and accommodate your customer for their inconvenience. Why didn't you just refund me for the 6? Immediate compensation for having to go back to your restaurant would have been nice. Oh well lesson learned on my part. Here is a picture of all the wings. I ordered 1 1/2 dozens. 6 were burnt. Picture doesn't even show how dark they were. Shame!"
"Bistro higher quality bar food. Their sandwiches are always delicious but I think their special super crispy wings dings and strombolis are what to order. It's not the fanciest or the largest restaurant in Johnstown, but always with the visit. Food rarely disappoints and their beer selection is top notch as well"
"Picked up full wings to go. They are like a cross between Murphy's and Haven. The breading is less crunchy than Murphy's and not as flavorful has Haven. They had about 6 to go orders while I was waiting so it seems like their food is very popular."
"Nice local tavern with friendly staff. Darker ambiance interior with a great collection of neon beer signs. They are known for having good wings, which I have enjoyed. On this visit I had the BLT with a fried egg. It was well prepared and had no shortage of bacon. I also ordered the loaded house fries, which are drenched in nacho cheese and crumbled bacon. I washed it down with an excellent Long Island iced tea."
