"We recently visited Cluck U in Odenton. We haven’t went to a cluck u in years due to the fact that there isn’t many restaurants around anymore, but boy it was just like we remembered it. The chicken still had the same great taste! Not to mention everyone was so friendly. The owner even had complimentary tooth picks. I will going back soon!"

"We came because our friend wanted to try the hot wings challenge. Yes, you have to sign a waiver. He dropped out after the third wing, which was actually very impressive because I tried them, took one bite and that was enough for me. My order of the considerably less spicy wings were reasonably good but swamped in sauce. Almost felt like I was eating a stew. The sides were just ok. Staff was terrific and the posters were suitably amusing. Bathroom looked clean but smelled pretty bad. Maybe it's from customers losing it after eating too spicy in too short a time?"

"When compared with the national wing chains I would put Cluck U slightly below all of them. Positives: The chicken itself was cooked properly and the crisp on the outside was nice. The tenders were quite good and were good sized. Negatives: The sauce is where these wings fall off. The sweet chili is just too sweet and lacks the good flavor that I would expect from a sweet chili wing. Additionally, the parmesan garlic flavor tasted artificial, and lacked the garlic and parm flavors that usually shine through with this wing flavor. I picked the wings up within 2 minutes of the pickup time, and they were cold by the time I got home about 10 minutes later. With the price point being more than a dollar a wing I do not think these are worth the money. All things considered these wings are okay at best, but I would not recommend Cluck-U to anyone for wings. I would consider returning for the tenders."

"A retro Chicken place like no other! I love the Cluck-U-Chicken brand! When you go in you immediately see the brand everywhere in the most fun ways! There's a robocop chicken, a Spider-Man chicken and other fun stuff all over the dining area and in the bathroom. The brand repeatedly says the same thing, the chicken is addictive and it's not a lie. I have to drive an hour to get to this restaurant and I do so about twice a year (sometimes a little more if I'm in the area) and it's always worth it. It's really good I'm not living closer to Cluck-U-Chicken because I'd honestly be going like maybe once a week. The chicken is really that good!! I love wings in general and these are perfectly breaded, perfectly sauced, perfectly seasoned, perfectly fried and perfectly sized! These wings are big and filling! I love supporting this business because their food is quality all around always! Everything on this menu is fire and everyone in this restaurant cares immensely about the food and the people ordering that food. If I could suggest one thing to improve on, I think the decor and merchandise needs to be updated! Don't get me wrong, like I said everything in the restaurant adds to the retro atmosphere and the brand but it has not been updated in a minute! Please support this awesome business and see how good this chicken is so that the brand can keep going and can continue to grow! :) --Mark"

"Wings were great. Nice fried coating and still juicy on the inside without being overcooked, covered with sweet spicy sauce. I was pleasantly surprised I liked the coleslaw because I'm pretty picky about people's different styles and takes on coleslaw. It was nice and creamy and had a good taste, even if i think I could taste the onion a little too strongly. Those fried donuts, the honey bees, covered in that honey sauce were fantastic. It had a nice airy texture that reminds me of fried Chinese donuts. Overall, definitely going to be on my list of regular chicken wing cravings. Update: I went back again. Today's coleslaw kicked chicken butt and I didn't taste any of that heavy onion flavor. In fact it was even better today with cubes of carrot I don't remember having last time."
