Hair Cuttery

"We went in for my son’s hair cut. I asked the stylist to please use scissors only because the trimmer usually tends to spike up his hair more and I didn’t want his hair being that short. She said she would try but had a really bad attitude about it. She kept wanting to use the trimmer, but i said no. She probably took it out her frustration on my son’s hair because she left patches of uneven hair all around the sides. When I asked if she could even it out she said, it wasn’t her fault his hair was the way it was and it would be better to use trimmers. I said, “it’s just that our other lady that cuts his hair has cut it without the trimmers and don’t like it being too short.” She then said, “ then why don’t you make an appointment with her?”. Very snarky, she had no bedside manners. I was super turned off by the comment however his hair was cut the way it was cut. We left sad and disappointed. This was the haircuttery in Germantown."

"This plave is horrible, i was growing out my hair and curls and asked for the sides to be a fade and leave the top long but for the 5 times i went here different people all left my hair so short i cant grab it well. Also denise what went through your head when someone asks you to keep the hairnlong on the top. I was very clear on that too i walked in waited for her to finsh up her client when it was my turn i wanted the same haircut from the person before me exept long on the top and she confirmed that it was going to be longer on the top. Proceeds to cut my hair shorter the the person before her , which i speciically asled my haor to be longer than his...i was growing my curls and it took MONTHS , happend to me before all i ask for the sides to be organized. They always end up cutting my hair however they wanted instead of what I THE CUSTOMER ASKED FOR."

"Really bad hair cut, I asked for curtain bangs and I think those are not curtain bangs, one side is bigger than the other one plus they left my hair soaking wet, so I couldn’t see the result until I arrived home and dried my hair"

"I have been to this location twice before. I really enjoyed my haircut from my first stylist, Wendy. However I came back in a second time recently and rescheduled with her to get my trimmed and I was approved for my booking time. However when I arrived I was greeted and told to sit and wait for a stylist even after I had told her that I had an appointment with a specific stylist. Another stylist came over and got me and said she would be doing my hair and I was confused but unfortunately I am not a confrontation person so I did not say anything which I understand is my fault. I told her I wanted an inch to an inch and a half off of my hair and she agreed to that as well as fixing up my layers. I did not realize unfortunately till I got home and was informed that my hair was much shorter than it was previously as my hair reached close to my mid back but not it reaches only to my lower shoulder blade area. I was also shocked when I realized that this other stylist I was put with was a master stylist (I believe) and she was almost $20 more expensive than the stylist I booked with. I will say my stylist I was out with was very nice but I was caught off guard by the price being over $60 versus the $42-45 I was supposed to pay. I gave two stars because I know that I originally enjoyed getting my hair cut here however this past experience left a slightly bad impression on me as I specifically requested Wendy and she did not help me but instead had another client during my appointment?? It was just all very odd as I waited till a day that she was free only for me to not get my hair cut by her or even acknowledged that she knew she was my stylist."

"Joyce has been my stylist of choice for a number of years now. She always remembers and confirms my preferences as soon as I sit down. She is a great stylist and the ultimate professional. Always in a friendly and joyful mood she is just a wonderful person to be around. I always leave the salon with a smile. I don't want anyone but Joyce to cut my hair and will definitely continue visiting her. 5 out of 5 stars from me!"
