"Got the large oxtail with plantains with rice and beans. The food was delicious and an actual large portion. I can't speak about the atmosphere because I didn't dine in. However the food came out in a timely manner and I'll visit again for sure."
"Every time I turn round the prices are rising within a few months apart. So now that the large oxtail is $30 after taxes. I’m guessing maybe we will get more oxtails. Well when I got my plate I had about 6 oxtails on there. I just can not fathom how the owner raised the price from $24 to $30 with the most least amount of oxtails. I had to bring it to their attention stating this is not $30 worth of food. Of course I didn’t expect to get 20 pieces of oxtails. But 6? As if I ordered a small? No ma’am! So I brought it to the lady attention an she gave me more oxtails. I appreciate it, but because I like a large order an not the small. I do not feel like dealing with the small amount of oxtails for $30. An definitely not spending that price again. $30 is just absurd. Update: So I just finished eating what I could. I was extremely unhappy with the quality of food. The oxtails wasn’t good, some of them were tough/overcooked… the cabbage was crunchy and UNDERCOOKED. An the rice an peas were super mushy. I live just across the street and let’s just say I’m never returning here again."
"Moved here 2 months ago and have tried 6 different Caribbean spots for oxtails.$35 for a large oxtails and a beef patty.... This place is crazy overpriced compared to others in the area. The amount of oxtails I got was least. The flavor was good but there was very little meat on the oxtails. The beef patty was good but very little meat and the highest price I've seen."
"The combo deal (2 meats + 3 sides) is HUGE!!! It can easily feed two normal sized people. If you're not absolutely ravenous, it's better to get the more moderately sized lunch special. I got the combo with curry goat, jerk chicken, plantains, rice & beans, and steamed dumplings. It was a mountain of food! Everything was delicious! Loved the goat in particular. Moist, soft, and flavorful. This place isn't the cheapest Jamaican around, but the portions are super generous and the food is so tasty. Quick service too. Go get it!!"
"We had a lunch combo comes with rice and beans and a choice meat, salat and plantains. The portions were enough for one person and my wife had a pineapple ginger drink which was $4.50 and I felt it was expensive. But the taste of the food was good. The Plantains were a bit oily. The place is only 3 tables so take out is the best option. This is my second time here and got the jerk chicken (5/5) small portion and the lady at the counter gave extra jerk sauce on top. The flavor was good and the chicken was very tender. The jerk seasons has some spice and sweetness to it."
