"Not really a place to sit and eat but the people are always welcoming and friendly. +++++ for the ochre stew, I love it. The jollof rice is also very good and as an Islander, I am so impressed with their oxtail."
"This is my second time trying their food and I must say it’s not for me. A friend recommended this place for waakye so my first visit, I ordered waakye, jollof, and fish pie. The fish pie is the star of the restaurant, that’s it-everything else was barely seasoned and the stew for the waakye was bitter. My second order (figured it was just a bad cooking day for them my last visit) was for beans and fish, chicken pie, meat pie and bofrot. I tried the chicken pie (not pictured) in the car and it was terrible, I had to throw it out. It’s being seasoned with something that doesn’t belong in a pie-looked like coarse black pepper but it didn’t taste like it. Also, the bofrot tasted like the oil has not been changed in a long time. The fish for the beans also is being seasoned with something that completely threw my taste buds off, had to trash it. The beans were edible but just okay and the plantain was cooked to perfection. I’m afraid to taste the meat pie (pictured). I’m quite disappointed because I really wanted to love this place but not for me. I do have to congratulate them on keeping the restaurant clean."
"Food was horrible. Ordered waakye. Tasted burnt. The stew was so tasteless. Bad aftertaste. I'm sorry. I tried keep thinking it'll be better if I give another chance, but whoever does the cooking doesn't put any love into it. I've had better Ghanaian food elsewhere."
"I love the food here. I’ve been coming here for years the staff are always super nice. I could always go for some rainbow!"
"I was very disappointed ☹️ with the presentation of the food. I use to go there for lunch when I was in MD, especially when they first open until I moved. I paid $24.32 for this!!!! Twice of how much it used to cost, which is not the problem. Three pieces of Frozen fish, half cook plaintain that I had to refried, etc. I was so excited to stop by because I was in the area but never again!!! What happened to the whole fish and better presentation. Consistency and presentation is everything."
