"I have had good experiences here before but I do not think I will be returning after today. I have to be at the airport in 4 hours so I have limited time to do my hair. I have been at this location three times since it opened at 10…it is now 10:48am. I called the number on the door and even went out of my way to return to the store three separate times and each time no answer. The sign in the door said OPEN and was lit up and the hours on the door say 10am. I went here specifically because it is a black owned business and I love to support us. Very disappointed because I used to really like this place. But after the lack of communication for well over half an hour and multiple attempts to contact the store—during what are supposed to be open business hours (10am), I don’t know if I can put myself through that stress and uncertainty again. I would not recommend this location to anyone that is on a tight schedule and values their time."

"went in for the first time with my mom and met Miss Dee right there in the store, she was so kind and gracious that we came in to shop all the way from Rockville that she even have me a lil discount. Store may be small but it has everything, and if you can't find it Miss Dee will order it for you! The prices are so much better than you'd find in other beauty supply's and there's a salon in store where Miss Dee also does braiding. This is all around a great store and is Black Woman owned and operated so please go out and support!"

"The owner Ms. Dee was really sweet and helpful with finding the hair that I needed for my passion twist. You can tell she was knowledgeable in styling natural hair. Although the store is small, it had plenty of choices in hair & wigs. It’s also a black owned business which is a plus! I definitely don’t mind driving a bit farther to come back here. Great overall experience!"
