"Extensive menu with many options. Went on a Sunday night with friends. The horchata was amazing. Best plantains ever. The mariachi band added a nice, festive atmosphere. Price was great."
"Lots of taquerias in Riverdale and most are authentic. This place is good & reasonable! I love getting good food in DC at a reasonable price. I had one steak & one barbacoa (stewed goat) taco with a side of guacamole. I love that they even give you chips & salsa. I’ve eaten here a dozen times and it’s always a treat for under $20. A Burritos for under $7 with a side of guacamole. Why would I go to chipotle or anywhere else?"
"Overall a solid 7.5/10 Customer service is always bad here but the food makes up for it, I've been coming here for years and it's always bad service which it's a good sign of good food, the Micheladas are pretty good for $10, the meal was roughly 15$ so not bad for 25$ + tip. Theres a shopping center right Infront so there is plenty of parking when it's slow but during peak hour it gets hard to find parking. The salsa chips were pretty stale but ok"
"Good place with great drinks, homemade tortillas, and good food. Very nice for a quick bite with good prices, lovely atmosphere (partner says it reminds him of mexico) with music, art work, and people enjoying food. It can get pretty busy but if you come on a weekday or an off time you will find it easy to get a seat. Service is friendly and the menu is wasy yo navigatw and includes a lot of pictures. It's 4 star for me because of how the food compares to other places for my favorite dishes: mole tacos, and chilles rellenos. Good but not great here. The tostada my partner had looked amazing and the three tacos were a big enough portion that it was hard for him to finish everything. I took home half of mine as well after filling up on the banana shake (which is more like a milk with banana blended in but not frozen). I substituted refried beans for the regular pinto beans."
"One of the hidden diamonds in the city. The best food you can get and the ladies were always friendly. You get a home type vibe when you walk in. Best part you dont wait long for your food its fresh and you can trust it..just enjoy the vibe"
