"I ordered the chicken tenders , they were basically all breading. Very disappointing. Also, we asked for change for a $20 at the host stand, we were shorted $3 from the owner & he put up a fight making good on the mistake. Eventually a server gave the shorted money. We've since learned to always count money before walking away. Our server was great & handled our party wonderfully, but we will not return."

"Today was my first time at hook and reel!! The atmosphere was amazing !! I love that TouchTunes is available so I can choose my own tunes. The happy hour is out of this world !! The fact that it’s 2-7 pm!! The voodoo lemonade drink was my favorite!! It had all the right ingredients!! The whole five stars goes to Andre the bartender he has so much personality, happiness and passion. He’s a hard worker also, he really was doing the bar and tables. I will be back just to see him. "We went here for our daughters birthday dinner. We were so happy with the service and food. Last year we went to Crazy Crab and the experience was horrible, we've been wanting to try a new place for boils, but haven't gotten around to it until now. Hook & Reel was amazing. The service was great, they were attentive and checked in regularly. We ordered crab fries, calamari, raw oysters and the Reel Catch Boil. The boil included 2 clusters of snow crabs, black mussels, shrimp. We could have easily ordered 2 boils, the way our 3 kids love seafood. The oysters were small but good for the first time my kids tried them. They come with hit sauce, horseradish and cocktail sauce. The calamari was great, my oldest almost ate it all. They were some of the largest calamari I've ever seen. The crab fries were good, I was expecting a little more of a crab dip look/texture, but other than that, they were good. The boil was amazing. We did the Hook & Reel seasoning mild. It was just enough of a kick with kids. The crab legs, mussels and shrimp were plentiful and decent sized. You got 2 potatoes and 2 corns. We will definitely be going again."
