Amphora's Diner Deluxe

"Went for breakfast.. the French toast was soggy and had excessive cinnamon. The chocolate waffle was a waffle and they added chocolate chips after cooking on the top and the waffle was very hard ."

"Amphora's Diner in Herndon, VA is a great diner. There 3 main things I love about Amphora's: #1) The selection - There are over 6 pages of menu items with many types of items including breakfast items, animal proteins, salads, baked goods, and others. #2) The staff was very friendly, very attentive, and allowed me to customize my order to accommodate dietary restrictions. #3) The diner is large and has a 1950's diner feel. Walking into Amphor's diner was a bit like walking into a time warp. While a tad pricey, I can and will eat at Amphora's diner again."

"I have dined here for breakfast few times, love the decor, typical diner ambiance. Service is good but not exceptional. Coffee is good. This time I ordered the French Toast with a side of crispy bacon; the bacon was cooked to perfection, but the french toast was dried. I will patronize this establishment again."

"This place is big and the acoustics make it very loud. Several styles of eggs Benedict i would suggest the Italian. Hollandaise sauce is homemade but bland. The home fries are really good. Service is good. The menu is huge"

"Came here on a Sunday around 11am. Hoping to beat the crowds, but no luck. This place is quite popular with it long history and wonderful pastries available. I believe they were short staffed when we visited. The food was ok, the meals presented rushed though taking a while to get our food. I have previously always enjoyed coming here, hoping I just caught them on a off day."
