"Hidden gem. Nothing much there. Trees, water, picnic tables. Saw a pair of ospreys, male performing his undulating mating dance over the nest on a dock."

"This little area is hard to notice if you're not looking for it or driving at a reasonable speed. It's one of the places on the Parkway where the view of the River opens up. Much prettier in the Spring but still nice!"

"There's a sign for this little picnic area as you head north on George Washington Parkway. 3 picnic tables. I didn't see a grill. 14 parking spaces. No bathrooms or portopotties. Guess you would go in the woods. The view is nice and you don't have to deal with crowds."
