"The ambiance was great but the service was poor. Waited over 20 mins for someone to assist me. They were not busy at all…Waitress just passed by me without even acknowledging me at all. I literally had to flag her down to order my drink. All I wanted was a drink. She gave me the drink menu then disappeared; after 15 minutes of waiting, I saw the manager passing by and the manager took my drink order. The manager was nice though. But the service of the waitress was quite disappointing. I gave a 3 star just because the manager was actually nice and my drink was good. But the lack of customer service from the waitress and her treating a customer as if the customer is bothering her, really left a bad taste in my mouth!"
"It could be a cool place. Except the food was horrible. The goat was so tough, it was like rubber. Obviously reheated last weeks goat meat. The manager/owner was less than accommodating, seering at my with a look of disgust, I guess because I was dressed in jeans, addias jacket and boots (we were just out and decided to check out). Like get your restaurant together before you judge others. Then we waited 90 minutes for terrible food. Man please. The others in my party ordered salmon. They got a flat please or cardboard looking fish. when it was forked it was white. Obviously not salmon. We paid for our drinks and left. You cannot have rules about 2 hour table limit and then take 90 minutes to bring bad food. The rules alone mean I won't be back. The nerve of these people to call this upscale."
"Suya was tender and tasty. The oxtail was delicious - cooked to perfection. My party loved the coconut rice. It's worth going again."
"Please reserve in advance, it’s like Fort Knox, especially if you want hookah. Every available seat occupied. Me and my sister grabbed a table at the bar (by luck) and wanted hookah, can only do outside and if wanted table had to buy a bottle after a certain time. You cannot reserve that day of either. The food was fresh, but I ordered a Caesar salad and they ran out of Cesar dressing. My sister ordered lamb suya and they only had beef. Nonetheless we ate it. The drinks were mid. The bartender was nice and gave us shots on the house, so that was nice, despite having to leave because we wanted to have hookah. The dj / host was good, working the crowd And high energy. Definitely cannot drop by here, you need to plan to go here if you want outside priority with the option to hookah. Waiting to get in for a reservation seemed to be unorganized as well there was 15 people sitting waiting to be seated. Glad we sneaked in and found a seat at the bar."
"The restaurant itself is beautiful. At night it lights up and turns into a nightclub after 9 pm. Security does check IDs & attire at the door. They are very strict with their dress code. Food is African, so Goat, Oxtails, Cornish Hens, Jerk/Curry Chicken, Shrimp, Coconut, Rice & Peas. The food is extremely spicy and flavorful. Outdoors has plastic chairs. I sat at a high top table. I was sliding out of the chairs and sweating a lot in them. The lower tables are probably better and more comfortable. I chose to stand up to eat. Drinks were on point. I got the House Rum Punch & LemonDrop. The ambiance, palm trees, lights, artwork and light fixtures are very nice. I recommend a table inside for a better dining experience. The music is so good, Tems, Beyoncé, BurnaBoy, Afrobeats, R&B & Hip-Hop. The DJ was on point. The atmosphere really is a vibe. I would only recommend better service, friendlier staff and more interaction from the managers."
