"Came to celebrate a family birthday in Bowie and LongHorn did not disappoint. The service and food was great as usual."

"Visited on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated right away (which was a plus). I normally get the porkchops, but decided to try something else. I had the chopped steak (ground beef) topped with caramelized onions and mushrooms. I asked for it to be cooked medium well. They didn't quite hit the mark. Meat could have been a little better seasoned as well. It was just okay. My baked sweet potato was excellent. Right amount of butter, brown sugar in addition to perfect size. I also had the brussel sprouts. They were entirely too sweet which explains my 4 star rating along with the underwhelming chopped steak. The bread as always was served hot, warm and fresh."

"I was very disappointed in my experience at this Longhorn restaurant last night. This was my second time going to a Longhorn and my first experience was at the Largo location, years ago, and it was a fantastic experience. So, of course, I was excited to make a return to the restaurant when I got a chance to. We got there at 9:50pm and the restaurant closed at 11pm so we were a little skeptical that we would get rushed service or food but it was JUST early enough that we figured it would be okay. There were about 10-12 other parties when we walked in so we proceeded. Our waitress, Megan, greeted us immediately and asked for our beverages. We also ordered the Wild West shrimp and the spinach dip. Both came out very salty to the point we didn’t finish it. Should’ve been our first sign not to proceed but we were hungry and already there. I mentioned the saltiness to Megan to which she didn’t respond or acknowledge but proceeded to ask if we wanted entrees. I figured the safest non salty option would be a salad so I ordered one with Salmon, my husband ordered an LH burger with fries and we didn’t see or hear from Megan for another 20mins. Drinks empty, bread gone, no Megan. Finally our food arrived and the burger was CLEARLY from the freezer as it still had its perfectly circular cut shape. The fries were cold. My salad wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst. The salmon tasted like it came from a charred unclean grill. I know it was the end of the night but cmon! We used the mobile option to pay and got out immediately. We won’t return to a Longhorn ever again."

"Longhorn at Bowie is generally great, so far no bad experiences and I frequently visit. Drinks are ok, food is great! Can be a busy spot on weekends."
