"I really enjoyed the sandwich, and I think it was probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in the DMV. The bread was really fresh, and there was a solid amount of each component of the sandwich from the meat to the toppings to the dressing. The sandwich was made quickly but I felt like the staff was a bit unhelpful. However, it didn’t seem like something where it was extremely rude and it’s just a sandwich shop so I don’t expect five star service in that department anyways, I would definitely go back for more!"

"I wish that I could give this local business a higher rating. I wish their service wasn’t lousy because the food is unique and good, based on the sandwiches and wraps I’ve had here. Unfortunately, service is typically slow or sub par. After waiting for an unacceptably long time for an order made at the counter to/with a surly and unprofessional staffer, I vowed to use the online order option via Uber Eats. For the latter, the order is specified in text. Hard to mess up, right? Nope. The order was not filled correctly. Will I try again? Perhaps. But I’m just warning folks not to be surprised if they experience service issues."

"I have not been able to physically go to this deli but I have been able to order it through Uber eats. The Italian sub was delicious. Very tasty. I would add pepperonis to it and then it would be top notch. The chicken salad was missing something I couldn't really put my finger on it. Maybe a little extra spice in there would have done the trick. The mini black and white cookie and I mean MINI for $2.50. I think they should double the size."

"I've been here 3 times so far. The Italian is my favorite. The meatball was a little salty. This is really the only convenient sandwich place in the area. It would be nice if the offered a larger sandwich size."

"High quality subs with a high price tag (total came out to $23.78 for one sub). All of the ingredients and proportions were on point (apart from there not being enough onions for my taste), but the sub as a whole just did not satisfy me the way I had hoped it would. I think Gemelli's Italian Market still offers a much better Italian sub, but this place lots of combinations and customizations, so I I will definitely be back."
