"Best pupusas ive had here in Md. Great quality. Pupusas came out hot! And fresh. Let me say ive been to various pupuserias like in wheaton, langley park but this one in my opinion topped them off. That said i can only say that for the pupusas. The burrito were ok since they went heavy on the rice."
"This was incredible. Mi primera vez probando pupusas and they were so good and fresh. The dough was handmade and the chicken and cheese inside tasted great. The pickled veggies on the side were wonderful too. About a 30 minute wait but worth every second."
"First and last time there, which is too bad because nice atmosphere but that doesn't make up for subpar food, tiny portions, and poor service. We went on May 5 when in area and this place decided to cash in on Cinco De Mayo to where they had paper printed Cinco De Mayo menus where there was nothing but extremely overpriced options and they had warnings on these special menus that 18% gratuity automatically being added to all bills The automatic gratuity someone scared me as in my past experiences when servers know they have a guaranteed decent tip they can get away with below average service. Unfortunately this was exactly the case. Our server was honestly just terrible. I went my drank my soda when eating chips and never got a refill despite asking a couple times (which was only a couple times I saw our waitress as she was hiding in back most of the time. We were there at lunch and barely anyone was there but that didn't keep our waitress from not being available at all. I had to eat my entire meal with no beverages. I paid almost $70 for a subpar lunch for 2 with no soda refill and left there very hungry and had to stop at McDonald's after leaving. I'll never be back."
"Our neighborhood association held a block party last week and we had Taqueria El Paso cater it. I made the arrangements with Ramon and he was great to work with. He was quick to respond to my texts, voicemail messages and emails, and eager to make sure everything went well. There were 150 people at the event and they chatted while waiting to place their orders and for their food to be ready. Ramon and two people cooking in the truck (one was his father) couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly to the crowd. They offered a menu of about eight items, including quesadillas which made the kids at the event happy. THE CROWD LOVED THE FOOD! There wasn't a single complaint of any kind. We would definitely use them again and recommend them as event caterers!"
"El Paso Food Truck has excellent food and service! I was there Saturday May 22nd around 12:30pm with my daughter who loves Mexican & Salvadoran food. We ordered the Lingua Sopes & Tacos plus Pupusas & Platanos. All were excellent! We saw everything being made fresh & service was fast; about 15 minutes. The total was $20. Ramon then asked if we would be interested in a tamarind drink his mother made. I agreed. The young lady there said the drink was an additional $5 which I think is excessive but we paid it along with tips. Drink was nothing unique. Overall, I will still come to El Paso in the future for the excellent food & fast service only & not for the overpriced homemade drinks. The last time I was in the area, in April 2021, I tried food from both El Paso (middle truck) & La Canchita (last truck) & did not try Mexico Puebla (first truck) where the person ignored us. I was not happy with the food & service at La Canchita, so this time I came only to El Paso where there were 3 people working with outside temperatures in the mid-80s. A young man named Ramon introduced himself as an owner & had a very pleasant & professional demeanor. He gave us the updated menu flyer – see photos. He told me they had 2 locations & were opening a 3rd. El Paso is located next to the Gaithersburg MVA. It is the second (middle) of the three food trucks. You can call ahead to pick up. – Stay Safe!
