"The food is fresh and portions are great. The issue is the spicy seasoning overpowers the flavor. The Mac n cheese is very spicy and I can't taste any cheese same with the curry chicken I can't taste any curry because the pepper spice is too strong. And I'm Jamaican and we usually don't complain about spice."

"A must try! The moment I walked in I was greeted so nicely by the cashier in the front yesterday, she helped me decide on what to get, I believe her name was Precious. She gave me suggestions on what to eat since it was my first time and her suggestions were top notch and the wait wasn't even long like 10 minutes. Food was super flavorful and the spice level there is perfect. Highly recommend !!"

I’m already craving what I want to try next! i tried the jerk chicken with shrimp alfredo pasta and oh my goodness, it was absolutely delicious! The lunch special is good serving amount. "LIK used to have the best high quality Jamaican food. But the last couple of times I bought food, I’ve been disappointed. Tonight I bit into my curry chicken and it’s red and uncooked inside. My daughter ordered the 6 piece chicken wing meal. Only to get home and find she had two drumsticks and a thigh. The chicken was good but it’s not what she ordered. Chicken thighs and drumsticks are her least favorite. Something she would never order. If we order wings, we are expecting wings. Disappointed especially since the food was not cheap. $46 down the drain."
