The Periodic Table

"I want so badly to like this place. The atmosphere is good, and it is walking distance to my house...but the draft beer is $7.50 as of writing this, which is pricey (though might just be the sign of the times and not Periodic's fault). What I found most disappointing is the last 5 times I've eaten here (over a timeframe of a year), the food really is not great. I've had everything from the Shepard's pie to the Strip steak, and it all just has the texture and quality of being dry, not cooked well, or just off. The appetizers are generally good from what I've experienced, so just coming up for a drink and lite fare might just be the way to go. I like that they are trying with events, I really hope they make some quality changes to the menu so that they can stick around for while because the atmosphere really is nice, but it will be some time before I have dinner here again for the cost and quality."

"I dont eat Chicken Beef Or Pork and sometimes it’s hard for me to drink and be able to eat food. My sister and I decided to order food 15 minutes past the cut off time. The waiter Tony made magic happen ;) Tony recommended the vegetarian egg rolls and they were DELICIOUS!!!!!! Use the special sauce THE BESSSSTTT’ I ordered 3 orders…lol. I even took some home! Thank you Tony for the great customer service and for making my first time a reason to come back! See you soon!"

"Solid spot with a carefully curated beer selection and tasty food options. We liked the Korean nachos, cheese steak flatbread and the roasted cauliflower bowl + shrimp. All were good. They also have wine and a creative mixed drink menu."

"Came here for a drag show brunch. The show was awesome! High energy and the girls rocked! Pros: the service was good, our waitress was attentive, the place was crowded but there was still room to move around. The bathrooms were clean. Cons: the buffet food was awful. The scrambled eggs smelled bad, and they were green in spots...the smelled like they were cooked in ammonia. The French toast was more like regular toast. They did have a fruit filled strudel that was good, and the bottomless Mimosas were good. My friends said that the mixed fruit was good too, but that was it. I spent $22 for a piece a strudel because I couldn't eat anything else. They had sausage and bacon, too, but it was pork & yuck! I did see some of the food from people who did NOT choose the buffet, and their food looked pretty good. Just say NO to the buffet."

"Super tasty food. We got a NY strip steak, a beef pie, and chicken tenders (for our kid.) Everything was well seasoned, fresh, and hot. And the prices were not totally outrageous. Our waiter (Harry) was pretty nice and attentive. Unlike other reviewers, we didn't experience long wait periods -- probably because we went in the middle of the week for early dinner :) If you want to have a drink, don't miss their happy hour and the daily specials. They have a decent beer and wine selection. If you have kids, go on a Wednesday. On Weds, kids can get a free dish from the kids' menu if you get a $14+ entree."
