"I always leave happy. Despite the fact that Historic buildings in Fells Point are not wheelchair accessible, Studio 1622 is *wonderfully* accommodating for Special Needs of all sorts. A portable ramp might work. As a family business, they will make every effort to help your family. Things I love: *The atmosphere *The warm welcome *They care about how I am and remember me. *They listen to me. *Versatility and skill! *Authentic kindness *Patience with my needs *No triple booking - I have the time I need and they don't rush. *They share about their experiences and are a bright swatch in the city's fabric. *It's clean, they are always cleaning! *It doesn't reek of strong chemicals, the air is kept fresh and moving. The products are mild. *They don't sell me what doesn't work. *They recommend useful products and show me how to use them. *I laugh and smile the entire time, the outside world settles down for a while. *Comfortable, varied seating for waiting and haircuts I have been coming here for over a half decade and have never had a cut or dye I didn't love. I bring others and they leave happy. If I come in with a bad cut from elsewhere, they fix it. If I don't like a decision I made or the way my new cut falls, they fix it. They listen 100% to what I want to do, give relevant and caring advice, and I leave happy every single time. They check in every step of the way, no matter how mundane or ridiculous my hairdo idea is that day. They roll with whatever they get outta me, ha! I never cared about my hair before, but now it's a fun way to play and enjoy myself. A good hairstyle is a gift that keeps on giving, and this is where I go to get it. I have no problem driving a distance just to come here, and neither do my referrals! To balance my review I'm trying to think of a fair and constructive criticism but I truly haven't got one. I only wish they had more locations for more great business, to make everybody look and feel great!"
