Bua Thai

"Regarding the food- Bua Thai remains a consistent Thai restaurant in the area with delicious noodle dishes. I often order the drunken noodles, bikini shrimp, or pad Thai and the ingredients always taste fresh! The drunken noodles aren’t too soft or sweet, they’re very well seasoned and much more reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area. Delivery is relatively consistent as well. Regarding the service- The decor is very comforting and inviting. Usually there’s a very kind man who takes our order and checks up on us. However, today was an exception. Our waitress gave us dirty looks several times and seemed more frustrated as our lunch went on. She took my friend’s card and my phone, and then asked me across the room to give her the phone’s password. It was a very uncomfortable experience for both me and my friend."

"While I was in the area I stopped in to get carry-out for dinner. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant has an interesting/homely feel inside. Their menu is pretty big and laid out nicely in many categories. I opted for some chicken KaProw, Chicken Pad See Ew, Chicken Basil Fried Rice, and Chicken Tom Yum and I have to say that it was all outstanding! The soup was one of the best I’ve had, the broth had a really nice, fresh, lemony flavor from the lemon grass (unfortunately, there was a couple of large piece of lemongrass stalk in the soup, but it was easy to spot and remove) and the spice level was excellent! The flavors of the stir fried items was spot-on and had that “flame kissed” flavoring to them. Definitely would recommend stopping in… Really good Thai eats here!!"

"My new favorite Thai restaurant in the Ashburn / Lansdowne area. Very quaint setting and excellent service. The seafood pad Thai was exquisite! The whole shopping plaza is pleasant for strolling after dinner. Go in the evening when the lights are on."

"Great pungent food. Their dishes can be extra spicy so make sure to ask for mild spicy if you can't tolerate it. My favorite dish there are pineapple fried rice and their Drunken noodles. However I do not like their pad Thai, it is not as flavorful."
