"Has a launch into McIntosh Run. In the summer Patuxent Adventure Center rents out kayaks in the parking lot. Starting out it's a lovely, slow moving, shady paddle. You can follow the run all the way out to Leonardtown Wharf. At high tide the water level is fine up by the park. On my return trip the water level was much lower and we had to hop out and carry the kayaks over a few spots. Would not recommend for paddleboarding, unfortunately. Lots of low branches (which yes, you could sit for) but more importantly is the shallowness. It's rocky and will probably take out your fin. Super pleasant for kayaking, though."
