The Valley Inn

"Used to be our go to place for family celebration’s. Nice space, especially the outside seating in back. Inside bar was closed down and redone in October. Re-opened now and twice the seating size. Calamari isn’t like it used to be and wasn’t very enjoyable. Key lime Pie was my reason for coming. Still good. Wasn’t special, but key lime enough. One mediocre experience won’t get is to change from it being our family place. Know that it’s a high priced restaurant and it’s in the neighborhood."

"A favorite spot for great Maryland food! Kind and friendly staff! The place has so much rich history and the decor gives off home-y and luxurious Ralph Lauren vibes. Get the Cobb salad with oysters, shrimp and crab, the crab dip, the seafood gumbo (it’s amazing, we’ve been to New Orleans as reference) and mussels in white sauce!"

"Valley Inn is my go to spot for a date night or dinner with the family. Kid friendly, they have games and activities on the patio. The atmosphere is great. Love sitting in the patio area on warm summer nights or sitting inside by the fire in the dead of winter. The food is good. I got the burger last time. Great taste with crispy fires. But the best thing to order for an appetizer is the buffalo cauliflower. This is a side, but order it as an app. You won’t be disappointed. In past visits I had the steak, crab dip, muscles, and salads. I have yet yo have a bad experience."

"My new local favorite restaurant. Drove past it plenty of times. Finally decided to just pull into the parking lot and give them a try. Showed up at 5pm just before peak hours. So I was seated right away. The food was outstanding. Service was exceptional. But the highlight of my evening was the outdoor seating/experience. The owner(s) really thought this through for their customers. In a backyard style setting, they have Jenga, Ping Pong, and Corn Hole, TVs, and outdoor bar and more. Deck seating, and Patio seating. The list goes on. Very impressive place to dine. Will be a frequent patron of this place. Crab cake was the lumpiest I’ve had locally. And I have had all of what Baltimore has to offer with crab cakes. If you name the restaurant, I’ve tried them. The Grilled Rockfish entree was delicious."

"I used to love going to the Valley inn, but on my recent visit I was a bit disappointed. I ordered cheese steak sub, it was soggy and lacked taste. The fries were good. The anion soup was very good. Service was very good, but prices are way higher. The dinner menu has few choices and aside from salads, no vegan or vegetarian choices. The entrees not too many, about eight choices and the cheapest plate is 28 dollars for roasted chicken. Our bill came to 120.00 dollars for meals with nothing to brag about. It goes without saying, we will not be returning."
