"I am changing my 5 star rating to a 1 star! I tried everything and continuously reached out to get a solution. 5 people waited more than hours to see the customer service. Big build one cashier and one customer service. Great job well done"
"The customer service is too bad in this branch they loose my time and did nothing for me, even they don't know about their schedule for the costumers"
"I recently visited this bank to deposit a substantial settlement check. It was bad enough I didn't have access to the funds same day- my check was divided into two separate holds for two different dates. However, the teller made an error in calculating the divided payments, resulting in a shortfall of $225 from the total amount. It was only after I discovered this mistake on my way home that I promptly contacted customer service. Fortunately, a helpful representative acknowledged the error and submitted a correction for the transaction. Despite the correction being made, the bank has pushed back the date I was supposed to receive due to a "further review" process. This delay has left me without access to the funds, which I desperately need. If you are a bank manager reviewing this feedback, I urge you to conduct a thorough performance evaluation to ensure your tellers maintain the highest standards of service and calculating. I've been with Bank of America for over 10 years, and for the first time, I am considering moving my entire funds and direct deposits elsewhere."
"I am giving this experience zero stars I had a safety deposit box at the Bank of America North Silver Spring, 8511 Georgia Ave, MD 20910 . During the last three years I have managed to access ONCE although I have been paying dutifully. First covid- acceptable. Then remodelling- ok...sort of. Then "temporarily closed" for two years as notice on door says! Well two years is not temporarily closed. I went past a few times to see if it was now open after their "temporary closure" with no luck. Then it became extremely urgent to get a document out of my safe box. I needed it the next day. There is an email address to ask for access. Took three weeks for someone to reply. Then two weeks to suggest a day for appt- will let you know the time. Then requires another later call to me to set time. Had to keep rescheduling the delivery of this important document- great inconvenience and problem. I arrived ten minutes early, a whole bunch of people arrived including a security person from Brink. It took more than thirty minutes waiting OUTSIDE for them to organize the security system. Most unpleasant experience with everything. The Brinks guy was gone in five minutes, leaving a bunch of ladies, no security at all. Surely if a customer has had such inconvenience you arrive EARLY and be READY for immediate admission? Finally I was allowed in and took the contents of my box out into a big bag. It took more than 25 mins to do a whole slew of paperwork and ID to close the box....high security ok, understandable...BUT I then had to walk out of the front door of the bank (announcing I am walking out of a bank holding a big bag to the entire world onto a busy street!) and walk around the corner into the back alley and into the parking garage (usually had access directly from garage into bank but "temporarily closed"). So all that security to check my identity and close the box and send me out like that??? The bank security is only for the bank and not for its customers?????? Makes absolutely no sense. I was the only car in the parking garage which was very dark and had blocked up parkings for B of A, long distance to walk from some doctor's parking which I was appropriating, and there were only a whole lot of workmen in the garage doing some construction. I was completely alone except for them. Surely the least they could do was escort me to my car safely? I was charged for three years. No apology or offer or help or restitution. Why didn't this bank service its customers by sending out letters and emails to notify them that temporarily closed means maybe forever? And that they advise us to change the location of our boxes? And organise a box in a convenient branch nearby and facilitate the process of opening new one and closing old one with minimum wait, only one visit, all arrangements made for ease of transfer???? This is not only unreasonable but completely dysfunctional in terms of the very basics that a reputable institution should supply, especially a bank, especially when dealing with valuables in a busy area. It has taken nearly 8 weeks to arrange the transfer, hours of holding on on the phone to listen to how important my custom was, only to get someone who passed me on to someone else three or four times EACH TIME, and get the new box opened and even then it is HALF the size, a different shape and nothing else available...which is extremely inconvenient and requires repackaging of all the contents. I had to make many visits to both old and new institutions to do so. It is NOT the fault of the new bank, who did their best, but the process was laborious to say the least and the old branch was not only misleading and incompetent but outrageously unapologetic, arrogant, unreceptive. Worst of all, I had no one with high enough skills and contacts to complain to that would listen and respond immediately to what was a problem that should never have happened in the first place. Hence this complaint. Hope that a million people read it."
"Betty Tamre was amazing .....she is an excellent customer service individual and has the ability to satisfy your clients in the most effective and efficient way. I understand that a satisfied customer will tell 10 people and a dissatisfied customer will also tell 10...honestly l left the bank laughing because she exceeded my expectation. Thank you betty..."
