"I went during happy hour which it’s from 4-7pm Monday-Friday. The menu that was offer had great selections from seafood to wings. The drinks were strong. We had the bartender Dazmen. She was professional and polite. Honestly she was overworked! She was the only bartender serving 15+ people. Dazmen did an incredible job!!!! We encounter a very unprofessional hostess being on her cellphone the entire time behind the desk, taking calls outside while people need to pay their bill or be seated. The service on Friday was slow but we assume they were short staffed because of call outs. Overall good experience"
"I have so much to say about this place. I don't even know where to begin. While giving our drink order my sister got to her fourth option before they had what she asked for. They were out of so much stuff. It was ridiculous. The waitress had no knowledge of the menu. They have all you can eat seafood posted on two different menus at two different prices. One of which is the happy hour price. We were there during happy hour, ordering our drinks and food from the happy hour menu. However, they didn't want to honor the happy hour seafood price. They served your seafood boil bag as family style which means her and I had to share a bag at $55 per person. Under the old management, they would have served the food up on a platter, loaded with seasoning. The seafood boil bag that my sister and I had to share hardly had a drop of seasoning on it. We were also told that we could only get that one bag which is weird because we were getting all you can eat seafood. Rather than cause a scene we attempted to eat the food against our better judgment. We left this all you can eat seafood restaurant where we paid $55 per person still hungry!! And to add insult to injury we ended up with food poisoning!! I give this place a zero out of 10. I would not recommend"
"I visited Urban Crab Shack on a Wednesday night around 7. When I walked in it was a great vibe to come to on my off day for drinks and food. However I waited at the front door to simply get a menu and there was no one there at the moment. Okay cool I can wait I thought. Then I saw a Spanish woman who worked there and I simply asked her to pass me a menu so I didn't have to just grab on from behind the desk myself. Not wanting to be rude. However she brushed me off and kept walking to the back on her phone. Okay cool I waited about 15 minutes until the young lady who's station it was returned. After I got the menu and ordered my food it was well worth the wait. She was great and she was very professional and the food was everything I thought it would be"
"Avoid this place at all cost and just go somewhere else that does a real seafood boil!! This was only our second time visiting this establishment, and it will be our last. The very first time was ok, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they were newly opened. The seafood does not taste like the flavor they walk you through selecting. That's the first issue. The second issue is that some of the seafood had a weird taste. We looked past it because the waitress was very apologetic and corrected things as she could. This last time, though....a mess. It was 6 of us for the all you can eat, and they brought out 1 platter with enough food to feed 12 people. We didn't think much about it, but that was weird if the point was to be able to order multiple rounds of different things. We began eating and talking, and the food was tasteless again, so we ordered bowls of the sauce it was supposed to be in. Again, it was entirely too much food for 6, so the photo you see is what was left of the 1st order brought to us. We didn't order anything else. 1 of my friends asked the waitress if she could take the food since this was the first order and we didn't quite finish it. She was informed she would call the manager because she had been "getting in trouble for letting people take their food." Cool. She returned and delivered the following message from the manager: "There is no take out of leftovers per the menu, and if that is a problem, we can get the police involved." Did I mention this was our snd time at this establishment. The first time, we didn't ask to take what was left from a party of 12, and they offered and brought is boxes after we had ordered several rounds of food. It makes you wonder if they are recycling the leftovers. Mind you, the photo of the place was taken at 8 pm on a Saturday night. It was empty in the restaurant."
"I absolutely love the food here! My favorite are the flounder basket and hush puppies. The seasoning of seafood steam bags is perfect. "Fire" spice level is not too spicy and incorporates the perfect amount of garlic. To note, the flounder basket on my second visit wasn't as crispy as my first visit. Hoping they were just having an off day. When visiting, bring your patience and understanding. They seem to be short-staffed most days. Both times I went were on a weekday late afternoon/early evening."
