El Guapo

"El Guapo and The Basement: El Guapo is a cute taqueria style Mexican restaurant that sits in the middle of Catonsville. Featuring an open front of house during the warmer months, El Guapo always has a clean atmosphere with a beautiful Hispanic flair. Their food is delicious, drinks are always amazing and their downstairs bar-arcade access after dinner is a huge plus. I've always loved El Guapo, and am now a regular of The Basement, their underground barcade. It is not always as amazing down there. The Basement unfortunately is not regularly stocked, features an out-of-date drink menu, is not handicap accessible and does not feature an accurate allergy safe menu. Don't let these few things stop you from enjoying this new attraction as it develops even further with your support. The Basement is a great place for dates, friends, group get togethers, etc. There is lots of seating available as well as a Golf Simulator."

"A fresh and inviting atmosphere in the heart of Catonsville. It's a cool restaurant with 2 different vibes. The main level is colorful and has a great bar. The food is delicious and the Happy Hour prices are very enticing. Favorite day is "Taco Tuesday" and the margaritas are delicious. Downstairs in the "Basement" is the perfect place to watch sports and even play some."

"So first Pam is a great waitress. Must be said. First time visitors. Enjoyed the happy hour brunch. Food was good. Only issue which was a small one is running out of sangria. But we will be back. Keep the brunch. Great"

"I have been going here for a few years and have had such a welcoming experience. Kayla is usually taking care of me and always makes it enjoyable. She makes sure that I have my Signature Drink while making me feel comfortable. I've also met some wonderful people there including Ree, Rose,Shaka , Brian and Dixon Overall, The service was literally more than I had ever experienced. The waitresses Jenna and Kylee were very intuitive and prompt! I would recommend"

"This was my first time here and when I walked inside I immediately noticed the atmosphere. It was nicely decorated with a lot of colors filling the room. I also noticed a few old school games in the back. I ordered from the bar and the bartender was extremely friendly, even offering me a drink while I waited for my food to be ready. I decided on the chicken tacos. I initially thought at $16, it was too expensive but I still wanted to give it a try. The meal came with 3 chicken tacos, rice, black beans and chips with salsa. The chicken tacos were tasty and I enjoyed the toppings esp the cilantro crema. It complimented it well. The rice and black beans were a perfect addition. The chips were perfectly salty and the salsa was yummy as well. I feel like it's more americanized, not too seasoned but everything was pretty good. It lasted me two days so I would say it's definitely worth it! It's conveniently located for me and I'll probably be making another visit soon."
