"Lunga is amazing for fishing and relaxing but the trip back no matter how you go is a pain with all of the pot holes. They’ll swallow your vehicle."

"Very nice place, easy boat rental and shop for snacks and all the fishing tackle necessary for a good fishing session. Nice bass and pickerel in the Lake. The best fishing spot in the area, without any doubt, with a very welcoming and gentle staff !"

"This was my first visit since it re-opened. The park looks amazing. Plenty of space for large parties to gather, with built-in bbq grills. A long pier that goes out over the water perfect for fishing, and their are boats available for rental (looks like). There is a playground for younger kids if you want to keep them away from the water, and to and something to do for all ages while visiting."

"So glad to see this facility finally reopened! I took my son out fishing for a couple hrs and he just wants to get back out & fish more; even though we didn’t even get a bite. We look forward to returning many more times."

"I visited this park during my lunch break today and was very impressed with the recent renovations. There are plenty of shaded areas to sit and cool off, and the park has a large number of picnic tables for cookouts. The docks are also very nice, and you can fish from them or the shore. Motor boat and canoe rentals are available, and there is even an area for volleyball, a playground, and a pavilion. There are still some things in progress, but there is a store, a park service building, and plenty of parking. The weather was perfect, with a bit of a cool breeze blowing across the lake. I could see that there are plans for additional improvements and expansions, such as new benches and a camp area. Here are some of the things I liked about the park: • There are plenty of shaded areas to sit and cool off. • The park has a large number of picnic tables for cookouts. • The docks are very nice, and you can fish from them or the shore. • Motor boat and canoe rentals are available. • There is an area for volleyball, a playground, and a pavilion. • There is a store, a park service building, and plenty of parking. Here are some of the things that could be improved: • The camp area is currently inaccessible. • There are a few unfinished projects, such as the new benches. Overall, I think this is a great place to take the family. I would definitely recommend it to others."
