Option Care Health

"If it were possible to have a -5 star rating this company well deserves it. Option (to) Care Health, as they're known in our home, is inconsistant, unreliable, unorganized, unskilled, and unaccountable. We have been receiving their services for over a year so I feel qualified to review them. I am going to present my facts and let you decide if my opinions are indeed, more fact. In more than half our deliveries, closer to ¾, I have had to track down missing meds, supplies. Several deliveries have been delivered the day after scheduled delivery date. Deliveries have been broken upon arrival. Shipments invoices checked off as including supplies that were missing. Promises of delivery date and times not fulfilled. Confusion every single month as to infusion dates of patient by pharmacy. One dept blaming another for its mistakes while making their own to falter delivery. Management not fixing or changing anything from one missed delivery to the next. Staff from one dept calling to offer solutions about a problem you hadn't discovered existed yet, when they should have caught their own problem in the process. Several managers have called to correct the issue but after more than half the deliveries being botched I do not believe they hold anyone accountable as the problem exists month after month. Inconsistent, unreliable, unorganized, unskilled and unaccountable. They will chat you up and do as they please. People's lives are at stake. If I ever get the opportunity again to thank all those who have been a positive intrical part of my son's recovery I will never mention, or even consider Option (to) Care Health. I would never recommend their services and will gladly share our extensive experiences with anyone considering them as an option. That is the last thing you have as a patient with this company, Options, they make sure they get paid and could care less how the patients, families, nursing services all suffer due to their lack of... Consistency Reliability Organization Skill Accountability RUN. RUN. RUN. to another company."

"Responses were beyond slow and showed very little concern. I was told when done in four days with the interveinious medicine trans fusions I should be careful removing the needle and tubing. When I called Main Line Home Healthcare they said absolutely not. Don’t touch the infusion site. A trained nurse should do it and they would make calls and straighten all out. Never again."

"I have been on at home hydration therapy for my first trimester of pregnancy. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with option care I would not recommend them to anyone. They are extremely disorganized and lack communication skills to their patients. I constantly felt like I was out of the loop with my at home health care. The very first nurse I had was not kind at all she always seemed miserable and she smelled like she smoked a pack a day. The IV lines she would put in which where supposed to last at least 72hours always blew within 2 hours of being placed. She always seemed super inconvenienced when she had to come place a new line. I also feel like option cares call staff never knew anything they were very disorganized on multiple occasions I would be waiting for my new delivery of supplies to come for days at a time and no phone call. So at this point I become frustrated and call myself and they had no idea whether my doctor renewed my at home infusions!!! The only positive I have about this whole experience is my new nurse Tom he has been wonderful and extremely kind. However he is not even apart of option care he is a subcontractor!!! So that's probably why he is a lot nicer I will NEVER use option care again!!!"
