"We don't have horses but this is a great little hiking trail and it looks like all the riders here have a great time. The paths are well maintained and pleasant to walk. The hiker parking lot will hold about a dozen cars (which I've never seen full), but the horse trailer lot is huge. One reviewer mentioned a porta-potty but I didn't see one today. Maybe I just missed it. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this trail/park for a picnic as there aren't many benches or tables. It's mainly just a trail down to the water and back. But it's still a pleasant and fairly easy hike."
