"I go here a lot during the summer with the fly rod. Lots of goose poop and people using the walking path. Lots of nice people and kids....and lots of others smoking weed. Wish they'd clear the brush a little better and police the trash...and keep the fountain on to get the floating grass and slime pushed against the banks."
"Nice place for a quiet Sunday stroll. There are plenty of birds and turtles to see. When arriving, I didnt notice any signs marking designated parking (we parked off of the main road). It's not a place to take the kiddies to feed the birds, but there is a playground. There was some debris that could be considered concerning (disposable 'cigar' mouthpieces)."
"Got bored on Sunday and decided to go see if there were actually any fish in this little lake. I can assure you that I was surprised when I started casting. Ended up catching 7 bass ranging from 10 inches up to a nice 5+lb one. Went again the next day and caught three more. All released back so feel free to stop by and give it a go. Lots of geese poop but what can you expect from a little lake? Some trash in the water but it could be from a recent storm. Regardless I am hooked and will be back often."
