"We celebrate New Years Eve here for a couple reasons. It was close to my brother's home, they were having a band and it is a local business. We had a great time ! The band was exceptionally good ! We only had nachos for food, so I can't really judge the food. The nachos were very good and everything I saw going to other tables looked yummy. I will definitely be stopping back."
"Stopped here on a whim because of friends were doing karaoke and was a really hungry. I figured I'd try some things. so I started with onion rings , crab cake, steamed shrimp ,bowl of cream of crab soup and a bowl of regular crab soup and walleye fish bites and some awesome brussel sprouts. The waitress was very pleasant and very fast. She suggested the fish bites which I wasn't really into but man am I glad I got them they were delicious and the sauce that they served them with is amazing. Everything that I ordered was perfectly cooked very hot very fresh and very delicious. I could not stop eating the brussel sprout they were better than Gordon Ramsay's. Of course I had to take most of it home with me I'll eat it for the next 2 days but it was definitely the best and especially the price I could not believe how reasonable all of that was. I don't live too far away but I would definitely drive here again just to get this service and food at these prices many more times I look forward to coming back the atmosphere was awesome as well people were just having a good time"
"Great little place. The owner and her staff are super friendly. The food is GREAT. I devoured my Reuben!! If you visit once, you WILL visit AGAIN!!"
"Morgan Inn offered us quite the surprise as our recent (first-ever) visit last week, welcomed to some of the best food in Maryland! An unassuming atmosphere, reminiscent to a local “Cheers”. Nostalgia circled the air after a short while, similarly to the feeling of walking into iconic Rosy Tomorrow’s of Danbury, CT. Visiting on a Thursday, the live music duo was beyond talented, I even looked up a few times to see if music changed over to speakers. It sounded convincingly close to classic originals. Set at the perfect volume (not too loud). Can’t wait for another visit. Owner Jill is creating HoCo’s next melting pot; iconic watering hole, a place beyond “everyone knowing your name”- well that too- and, an establishment that will have long told stories where tables held now famous patrons and businesses formed on paper napkins. It’s just that place, where people delight in diverse conversation, accepting one another in mutual understanding and comfort food still exists. Did I mention the food? Top notch."
"Usually we just go there for drinks and music. We heard that they changed up their menu so we stopped in for a bite and drinks. Bluegrass band was playing. Not our music selection but the band was really good. But, the FOOD was the star tonight! Full menu now not just bar food. I had fried cheese curds and Rockfish tacos. My wife had a cheese steak with a side of sweet potato fries. Everything was cooked perfect and delicious! Going to be our new go to when we want something close for dinner!"
