"i have been trying to get a hold of someone through the social security department . if you dont have an appointment , you can not be seen . no one answers the phone . when i do wait for so long , someone picks up then hangs up right after . it’s been 6 months since i’ve received my new borns social . if anyone who works for the social department sees this , can someone please contact me ASAP!!"

"I was at this office on October 27/ 2023. As I walked in I was greeted by the guard and he directed me to where I needed to be. Once I walked in inside to my right there was a kiosk that I entered my info and got a number and sat done to be called. The place wasn't busy at all it took less than 10 minutes for the agent to call me! I explained why I was there and he directed me to go c the social security agent once I walked up to the window the agent was really nice with a big smile she was courteous and friendly she listened to me and noted my issue and told me she will hand it to her supervisor and they will inform me soon with a letter. Unfortunately I don't remember her name, but I would like to take the opportunity here to thank her. She was very helpful and very professional and caring. Unfortunately most of the time u read reviews on government sites and they are not pleasant and discourages people from getting the help they need. That's why I'm writing this review to let people know that don't always trust the reviews just go and experience for yourself. My visit exceeded my"

"I visited this office 3 times for my brother and sister. They are fraternal twin. The lady assist me that day claims they are identical twin (same first and last name, same parents, but different middle name and sex) and she could only do 1 at a time and the other one will take 3 months to identify. I decided to do for my brother first and she said she will submit my sister application after my brother received his social number. After 3 months and a week, nothing came to our mail so we decided to come again and ask for the update, I met a guy who sit next to the lady that help us the 1st time. He said everything clear now and he could issue my sister social number but since the lady help us the 1st time absence that day so he need to get her confirmation that’s everything clear before he could issue us a social number he will call us tommorrow (he did give us a number and extend number to call to remind him if we don’t get his call, I called for a week and it went straight to voice mail or either hang up. I left the message but no one called me). So we have to make time to go to the office the 3 times, after 2 hours waiting I met a lady who was on the phone with someone, after listen to my explanation she said we need to filled the application again (i feel like she doesn’t get what I explained to her) and we have to come back tomorrow since it’s pass 4h30 (4h33-4h38 at the moment), I waited for 2 hours and there are like 10-15 people still waiting, I’m begging her that I have to go to work tomorrow and I will filled it quick then she ok with it, after filling she handed me a receipt that’s said I submitted the application on July 10 and if I didn’t see my ssn I should call or visit them with this receipt and the date that I visited that office is JULY 24!!!. Now its August 10 and nothing in the mail, is the anyone that actually could help us in this office?"
