Reviews
"La Paz is in a great location along Carroll Creek which is one of its main draws. The wait staff is great. Sadly, I feel La Paz has lost a bit of its zest. The food is a bit bland and unappealing to the eye. It's become fast food quality."
"Something major has changed. We’ve been loyal La Paz patrons for over 40 years, even after moving an hour away. Our past several experiences have not been good. The food went from amazing to sub-par. What happened? Don’t see us returning anytime soon. So disappointed."
"DO NOT RECOMMEND 1) The salsa was just sliced paste. 2) Both my girlfriend and I’s food was lukewarm when it arrived. 3) The cheese in my quesadilla was rubbery and cold. 4) My girlfriend’s beef quesadilla made her sick. Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience."
"Chips weren’t great. Salsa was terrible. The chilli con queso was mealy!! I thought you couldn’tv ruin melted cheese. Cheese enchiladas, shrimp quesadilla and beef tacos were good. Sopapilla was horrible (see pic) . Waitress was great."
"I have been here before and liked it. However, it has been several years, and it seems to have changed for the worse. The salsa is just minced tomatoes. The queso is more like tomato soup. The rice and beans tasted like they came out of an El Paso TV dinner. The red chili sauce on the enchiladas was marinara. That is not what goes on enchiladas. Long story short, as much as I hate to leave a bad review somewhere, the food here was horrible. The chips were as hard as plywood. I will say that the service was pretty good. They are nice, and it's a nice place, but the food was a huge disappointment."
