"From the natural wood grain table that's at least 40 years old, to the mound of towelettes, to the tea colored plastic cups full of, you guessed it, southern sweet tea, I knew it was gonna be good! The ribs were super delish, especially the BBQ sauce they glazed it with. The baked beans, sweet pepper slaw, and cornbread were also excellent. I highly recommend!"

"What a blessing! This family restaurant offered us an unforgettable first time experience. Our family had stumbled across this spot on Sunday afternoon in Thurmont. We had no idea they were hosing an "open house". 1st year anniversary of Uncle Dirtys Brew Works. Free food!!!! This blew my mind... our entire family has never experienced a restaurant offering free food. Now to clarify, this was exclusive to the open house. The BBQ was amazing! The beer was amazing! The mixed seasonal drinks were all amazing! The owner and staff were extremely responsible, efficient, and kind. All around professional. They had a huge turnout and even during the ribbon cutting managed to keep all their customers satisfied. It truly feels they elevate the customer/consumer above themselves. Great work and well deserved 5 stars!"

"One of my favorite hidden gems in Frederick County. I hadn't been here in years and while there have been changes including a brewery and barbecue focus this remains a grounded restaurant with cheap prices including options under $10.00 which is rare these days. The food is good quality and the service is friendly. Definitely worth a drive up 15 from Frederick."

"Do not pass this restaurant! Not much inside,except good food and beer. It is clean and staff friendly. Outside seating area. Plenty of parking. Barbecue turkey sandwich with apple Barbecue sauce,served on the side. Very good.Good French fries. Good portion. Baked potato with beef and cheddar cheese. Looked delicious,which the lady with us said it was. I had a turkey club as I wasn't sure how much rub was put on meat. Seeing what the rest of our friends ordered, next trip will be definitely for their Barbecue meats."
