"We went for my birthday. We got SOooo much food. Our server, Aeriel (not sure if I'm spelling it correctly), was very nice. I ordered lobster bisque, and my husband had French onion. Won't get soup next time. Was not good. The volcano shrimp were delicious! We also ordered Lobster dip. It was yummy!!!!! The pita sticks you dip in it are FABULOUS! We both ordered steaks. Cooking on the stone was really neat. The steaks were very tender. I also had ribs. Did not care for sauce whatsoever. Mother in law ordered stir fry, and she said it was good. We also indulged in the birthday brownie volcano. It was surprisingly only $13.99. Overall it was good and we will go back!"

"Made reservations for 7pm. Upon arriving our party was told they don't have reservations it's called priority seating. Waited 30 minutes only to be seated at high top table in the bar seating area. Their was so many people waiting and the hostess refused to seat us and others..insisting they were waiting for a party of 11. That never showed up. Spoke with manager on duty she apologized for the hostess terrible behavior. I've eaten here on multiple occasions never have I received such lousy presentation of the food. This very upsetting since we had guests from out of state and I bragged on what a great experience they would have here. This is completely far from the experience I previously had. While eating someone turned the lights out in the bar area. This caused everyone to make loud noise due to the darkness. After 2 minutes in the dark the lights returned and restaurant applauded. The waitress was the most pleasant person. Do better."

"First time there and the food was phenomenal! I got the 9 oz sirloin, baked potato and asparagus. The steak and accompanied sauces were out of this world! The service was lacking..it took way too long for a cup of coffee and I never got my cream with it. Water refills took too long. She never checked on us to see how our meals were. Other than that, I would most definitely recommend you and come back. The best steak I have ever had! The dessert was amazing as well!!"

"My first time at Black Rock was fantastic. We celebrated my oldest daughter's birthday. We started off with the pretzels and cheese for an appetizer. My daughter and I each had the sirloin with mashed potatoes, cooked the way we liked it on the 755° stone, a very unique experience. My wife got the fish tacos, my youngest daughter got a chicken sandwich with bacon. My mom got a cheeseburger and mac n cheese. For dessert, we got the strawberry volcano ( not sure of the actual name, but it fed all 5 of us!). We were pleasantly surprised that the bill was under $120. Our waitress was amazing, she never let us with an empty glass and was very friendly. Definitely a place to return to for those special occasions!"
