Perimeter Trail

"After Halloween stroll with the grandkids on a warm afternoon let us enjoy a small spooky trail at the back of the park. I suspect it is unofficial and created by a neighbor of the park. Regardless, the littles could deal with ghosts and skeletons while the sun was shining and we're grateful to whoever sponsors the site."

"I've posted about this trail a few times. It's an easy walk, asphalt, good for biking, there's a wheelchair accessible restroom by the playground (lower) --awesome playground by the way. I mean, fantastic. They've made so many improvements over the years. Fun chime instruments and steel drums placed around that you and/or kids will love playing around with. Great spot for a picnic. If you enter by car, you'll have to pay a park fee, I think it's still $5 per vehicle, military is free, seniors can get a lifetime pass for the price of an annual pass that's good for all of the Anne Arundel county parks. As for the trail, it really is for everyone, young and old. A local treasure to be sure."

"Fantastic beginner trail for biking! If my big fat 265 lb butt can bike this trail while towing my son on his balance bike, anyone can do this trail and have fun! This was our first outing, together or otherwise, and it was awesome. Everyone was nice, there's only two steepish (I was huffing, but again, I'm a big fat guy, and I was towing my son) uphills and the vast majority is flat or downhill."

"We enjoy this trail. 2.4 miles is a decent length for a bit of exercise. It's paved and well cared for. Never feels crowded because the park is big enough. (The flower photos are from the springtime )"
