"I live in Indiana i come in town a couple times a year to work in my office, I took my Son and his Girlfriend to Red Horse for a Christmas Dinner, The food, atmosphere and the service (Buck) was amazing. My son surprise proposed to his girlfriend and the Staff was so very welcoming and helped to keep the special dinner and event flawless. I would Highly Recommend Red Horse to anyone. Ask for Buck he was the best and most friendliest server. We had an absolute wonderful experience."

"I looked at the reviews before going and was excited. Drove in from out of state, looking for an excellent dinner. It had a historic side so I thought this was a great choice. We made a reservation and could not wait for the experience. I ordered the crab dip as an appetizer, that was a mistake. I love crab, anything crab but this turned my stomach. I asked the waitress to take it away because the smell was making me sick. We also ordered prime rib as that was the special? I expected greatness. It was “ok” at best. Our waitress was nice, but we were the only table she had but still couldn’t fill our drinks. The food was 2 star at best, service was 2 stars at best. I struggled giving the food 2 stars. Please choose something different if you expect a great dinner."

"Staff was great and the restaurant is cozy inside. The steak was amazing and seems to be what they are known for. I also tried their crabcake and it was about average. But I would definitely go for steak here. Loved the blue cheese and spinach on top!"

"We stayed at the Comfort Inn next door to The Red Horse Inn and wanted to have seafood for dinner. The weather turned wicked, with ferocious winds battering the area. We walked over to the Red Horse Restaurant and was warmly greeted and seated. Started with Mardi Gras oysters and crab cakes. Delicious! Then we ordered French onion soup. Perfect.. Finished with the fish tacos. Very good. The fruity drinks were well made. If I lived in the area, this restaurant would probably become my go to place for a special dinner treat. Oh, BTW, if you stay at the Comfort Inn, you get a 10% off your food items."

"After a long drive we stayed overnight in the Comfort Inn right next door to the Red Horse and decided to walk over for appetizers and drinks. What a delicious surprise this charming place is! We sat next to a warm open fire in a gracious dining room. Our attentive server was Tessa who was knowledgeable about the menu and helped make some recommendations. We started with side salads, Caesar and garden. Huge portions with crispy fresh ingredients. The lobster bisque here is sublime! Creamy and loaded with flavor. The bread is crusty and warm, perfect for dipping. We also had the stuffed mushrooms which were delicious. A stuffed baked potato was fluffy and perfect. Cocktails are potent and expertly prepared. I like bourbon in an old fashioned and it was perfect. Try this lovely place you won't be disappointed! I'd love to come back and try some of the creative sounding entrees!"
