IHOP

"I am writing this review sitting in my vehicle parked in front of the restaurant. I have been eating here for the better part of 5 years and never, have I been treated this badly before. I usually hate leaving bad reviews because I believe it may happen that people sometimes have bad days and shouldn't be judged on a single action but I also understand that it's important to report when it's not good, and hold people accountable for their actions in order to allow them to do better. The store usually closed at 10pm during week days. I came in at 6:40pm. I asked for a table, the server told me that due to the weather management decided to close at 7pm. I replied I understand that but it's 6:30pm, not 7pm. She quickly ran to get a man. The man came with his head high up and I could feel in his manner he was ready to be confrontional about the situation. I decided not to make a scene and just walk away. Listen if you don't want people in your restaurant lock the door, as long as the door is open patrons will walk in and as an employee you are going to have to deal with them in a classy and fashionable manner. I am very disappointed and was expecting better treatment."

"I'm sorry, IHOP, but my experience tonight was just not good. I'm not a guy just going on a negative rant here. I have been in the food business in university dining for almost 26 years so I understand the challenges of the job. My Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich tasted like the chicken was fried in old, over-used, dirty fryer oil. The chicken was dark and ... mealy. The coffee we were served was warm, but very old. My wife and I enjoy good coffee, but even fresh bad coffee would have been better than this. All was not negative, your onion rings were excellent and my wife enjoyed her lemon ricotta crepe so good job on those."

"Place wasn’t busy but the server never checked on us. My friend asked for extra crispy bacon which wasn’t crispy and we couldn’t even tell the server since she never came to check on us. We ate our whole meals and another server had to get our server to get our checks. Food was good but the service was not. We’re both servers and tip very generously and this was not good service."

"Service was quick. Staff friendly and most importantly the food was great! I had Classic French Toast. It's like French toast on steroids. It's really thick bread and it's delicious. I asked for crispy bacon and it was perfect. My husband's Strawberry and Banana Pancakes disappeared very quickly. Our 20 yo son ate protein pancakes and breakfast burrito. His disappeared quickly too. He said it was really good. Prices are reasonable, so come on by and eat at IHOP!"

"We went for breakfast and it was a little busy, but the experience was great. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly and was delicious. A nice place to go for breakfast. (The blue on the plate is a reflection of the lights they had hanging)"
