"My daughter was referred to Dr Freeman due to a very pronounced murmur condition that she was recommended to have checked out asap by Dr Freeman. Her custody arrangement gave us 3 weeks to get her in or it will be 5 months or more before she will be back in the state. The family physician sent the referral asking to get her in before the 7th of January if possible. I called to follow and was told the dr is moving practices. I explained the urgency to get her in and ask if it could be ran by the dr to see if he maybe able to potentially see her. I worry because her murmur was listened to by 20+ Drs T her last hospital visit and was still very pronounced at her physical when we were referred asap. The staff refused to attempt to make any concession or speak to the Dr. Said maybe go somewhere else. I asked who they recommended and I was told there is nobody else. If you are going to refuse to care for a pediatric patient that could need your help( being the only ped heart Dr around) at least have a recommendation of someone else to reach out to. How unethically selfish of the staff to refuse to even relay the information or take my number if something changes. Exasperated with the disregard for other humans. The Dr could recommend a test at hospital or outpatient facility, maybe offer to take a quick look at his new office while setting up. I’ll find someone and probably drive 4 hrs to see them. Disappointed"

"Don’t waste your time. Go to Children’s in Pgh or somewhere where the testing equipment is up to date. Our child was misdiagnosed and we spent weeks of worry along with time away from work and money to find out he was absolutely fine."
