"Amazing local park and recreation area with hiking trails, pond, fountains, dog park, volleyball courts and lots of open space for getting some good old fashioned vitamin D"
"The best park among the nearby parks. The entire park is covered in wood chips (can't remember what they are called at the moment.). There are a few trees in one side of the park. There are also obstacles so you can train your dog should you chose to. Plenty of bags available and a couple of trash cans. The crowd here is a friendly. There is no separate area for little dogs. There is a lake 2 minutes walk from the park across a little pedestrian bridge - but it's not part of the park. So ignore leash laws at your own risk. The lake is great for dogs that like the water. I like to take my dog there cos he gets a wash after the dog park and he's usually dry enough by the time we walk back to the car. The parking area is not paved and it is gravel. There is a sand volleyball court and a basketball court between the parking area and the dog park. Pro tip - once you are on Elk Lick road, go slow, or you'll completely miss the entrance to the park. I don't believe there is a sign indicating that there is a park."
"It looks like there's a really nice new dog park there as well as a volleyball court and a small walking trail. Part of the walking trail is along a pond."
"Used the dog park. My dog had a great time. Bring your own water and bowl for your pup though; there are no fountains, spigots, or community water bowls."
"Great dog park. A lot of nice dogs and their friendly owners are frequent repeat visitors."
