"I ordered the original pizza for lunch and it was an excellent representation of what I would call tavern style. Thin and crispy crust, sweet and tangy sauce, wonderfully salty cheese and fresh oregano sprinkled on top. I'd get that again in a heartbeat. Lacy was an excellent server and took care of me, and the vibe inside is very clean, modern and chic. A great place to stop if you have a pizza craving!"
"Stopped in to Alta Via for a drink and a pizza the other day. The pizza was cooked to perfection and was not too greasy/heavy. Perfect to share with a friend and the service was great as well. Great drink menu if you’re a fan of Peroni on draft like me!!"
"I'm a big fan of Alta Via Pizzeria! It's good and you should try it. A couple notes I'd like to make: -Easily the best thing about Bakery Square. -For something that is part of a major development group, they've managed to create and keep a unique personality for Alta Via. -It's easy to be sat even when it's a high traffic time like 5PM on a Friday. The most we've waited was 15-20 minutes. -The food is consistently 'very good'. -They've got sparkling water on tap! When they ask the question "is still water okay?" that's your opportunity to upgrade yourself for free to spicy(carbonated) water because you deserve it. -A bit expensive depending on your price-threshold, but almost all pizza is these days! I wouldn't bring a cheap friend (someone who believes finding deals is a part of their personality) here, but I would certainly bring someone who is frugal (someone who is a conscious spender and will weigh benefits against costs)."
"We enjoy treating ourself to Alta Via a few times a year. Their Greek salad is excellent and the burratta is a meal in and of itself. If you’re thinking of pizza, I love their square pepperoni classic. If you’re thinking of a side, the garlic fries are tasty and nice and crunchy. We enjoy going to city kitchen for happy hour and then having dinner at AVP. Great spot in bakery square."
"Very cool vibe. Love the open seating area that is in the courtyard and the virgin cocktails. The food was good but not worth the prices. You can get the same thing at your local pizza joint for far less. I don’t mind paying more for something extraordinary, but it wasn’t. Kudos for the warm salted chocolate cookie with a side of vanilla ice cream though. Now that was worth the money!"
