"I used CVS in Kingston 10 years ago and stopped because I learned I was being overcharged, and their techs were always smug and rude. My insurance kicked in at $15. For years they charged me $14.98 for a drug that I learned I could get for $9.50 at Sam's Club. Although it was inconvenient, I moved all my prescriptions to Sam's and the savings was unbelievable. Now I use a glucose device that I can only get through "big box" pharmacies so I chose CVS because its location was convenient. Nothing has changed. Long lines at pick-up, rude techs. Would a "thank you" be too much. Maybe a smile wouldn't actually crack your face."
"Terrible experience!! They told me my medicine would be ready in an hour on the phone and I got there 4 hours or so later and they said they didn’t get it ready and it would be ready in 15 minutes and I drove through 15 minutes later and it still wasn’t ready!! Plus most of the staff has an attitude problem and the lady on the phone wouldn’t stop interrupting me. Definitely switching to Walgreens."
"I am an Instacart shopper and shopping in CVS was the very first time receiving and order in this location. While shopping for my customer, I was constantly watched by store clerks and secret shoppers ”like I didn't know”. One clerk who helped me find the items I couldn't find but it was only because I felt they kept watching me, NEVER ASKED DID I NEED HELP. Once I was done obtaining all the items on my list to be purchased. I headed for the checkout line and was greeted by an unhappy and discriminating cashier. No Hi, did you find everything you needed or a smile?. After the cashier rang up the order I was giving a telephone number in the Instacart app for the customer CVS telephone number to use for the sales prices. The cashier and I and everyone else who tried to enter the number multiple time did not go through. So I instructed the cashier to just continue and I'll just let the customer know, the numbers are not going through and they have to pay full prices for each item. I hear the cashier that's ringing me up, loudly whispering to another cashier, that she doesn't know how I'm going to pay for my order after me telling her 2times, I'm using credit. The cashier was not helpful, very rude, discriminating and had no knowledge of what INSTACART is. Your employees are the logo to your company and the energy, attitude, and uncomfortableness I felt made me not want to shop in the store. The Pharmacy was VERY PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND SPOKE with respect when I asked for help in another department. The pharmacy went out of their way to make sure my needs were satisfied."
"By far the worst pharmacy ever. I would give it no stars if I could. It took them days to figure out how to fulfill my prescription. I had to move from line to line while I listened to the pharmacist call his family to find out how much medication he should bring home. Also, I listened to the pharmacist hang up on a customer and proceed to call him a moron. No customer service skills whatsoever. The pharmacy intern was the only one capable of doing her job."
"I would not use a credit card at this location! My card was used to buy $500 worth of Gift cards tonight AFTER they tried to buy $1,500 worth and the card was denied! Credit Card fraud at its finest at CVS!! Why not get a manager to at least look at the ID of someone buying $2,000 worth of gift cards? I am guessing this was an inside job but the local police will figure that out in the morning"
